Waiting and counting down the days

We are so excited and looking forward with great anticipation to our trip to China. Jeff and the girls leave on the 7th of December, and the boys will join us on the 19th. We will spend Christmas at the super deluxe White Swan hotel in Guangzhou. Guangzhou is located in the southern area of China so the weather should be warm and wonderful. Especially since Jeff, Vic, Katrina and Meng ( JVKM) will be coming from Beijing and Hefei, which will not be warm at all!

For those of you not familar with our family, let me introduce you. My husband of 27 years is Jeff, our sons are Ben and Adam, 23 years old, our daughter Katrina, 19 years old, and our daughter Meng, 15 years old, thus = jvbakm, which is how I have always signed the Christmas gift tags and so long ago we were named the ja-ba-kum family.

We invite you to follow us on this journey. We know this will be the trip of a lifetime for the Paulson family. Our lives were changed forever when our youngest daughter came home almost eleven years ago. It is time for us to all travel to China, embrace Meng's birth country and experience together the wonders of this ancient and now very modern culture.

We can't wait!!
